The DPS Data Processing System 6.0 is a program for recording, storing and evaluating process data. Thus the actual production can be observed and allow early intervention in the event of an approaching non-conformity. Machine reports, single weight reports and error reports may be automatically generated on a daily, weekly or monthly basis.

The system may be confirgured in a variety of ways to show the information to suit personal wishes. There is also the possibility to display tabulated weight data as a Gaussian distribution curve.

These data are read via the Ethernet or through a serial interface and stored in a databank. The data from the HAVER weigher control and matching check weigher can be received as well. The number of packing lines hooked up is not limited by the software, but through the capacity of the hardware.

Data such as line no., weigher no., sort no., sort name, actual weights, specified weights, tare weights, upper and lower weight limits and much more can be recorded.

Because the program works as a web application, it can be operated by any desired computer in the company network. Only an up-to-date internet Explorer is necessary, so only an installation onto the server is needed.

By using a free databank, it is possible to store about 25 million data sets. If larger data sets are expected, then a licensed full version of the databank needs to be used. Microsoft SQL Server 2005 or Oracle 10 may be used as databanks, or the new one must be supported.

Furthermore, the data in the databanks can be exported as XML files, thus allowing the data to be read and processed by other software (e.g. Microsoft Excel).
